Lapsit Literacy Group

This is a literacy program for parents to sit with their child/ren and interact with books.

Aims

• Promote a healthy interest in literacy from an early age.

What happens

Parents and their children sit in a group and get given a literacy pack which the facilitator then proceeds to read with the families. This ensures that parents with low literacy levels can participate and receive the benefits.

Who comes?

This activity is open for all families of the Elizabeth Grove Community Campus Children’s Centre.
