Early Childhood Worker, Inner West Sydney
Position: Early Childhood Worker
Status: Part Time – 18 hours per week
Location: Inner West Sydney, NSW
Good Beginnings Australia is looking for a qualified Early Childhood Worker for our innovative Good Beginnings program located in Inner West, Sydney NSW. You will be required to work together with families and support parents in their parenting role as well as planning, resourcing and delivering Good Beginnings Play and Learn Groups. The role will be varied and challenging, encompassing a combination of group work as well as community outreach and development. This role requires an element of physical activity with setting up and interacting in Good Beginnings groups.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Qualifications in Early Childhood or allied areas as well as experience working within Early Childhood frameworks
- A strong background working with families from diverse backgrounds living in a variety of circumstances
- Excellent written / oral communication and time management skills
- High levels of enthusiasm and the ability to show initiative
- The ability to work autonomously as well as a team player
- Access to private transport is preferred
